Once allowed to take a step back and analyze these past two years in the context of my life as a whole (both the past and my dreams for the future), I can see how they play an invaluable role in determining the person I’ve become and the person I want to be. Our sweet and very helpful nurse, Francisca Juarez. Students getting hands on in the clinic. Doing intake, taking blood pressure, temperature, etc. General health checks for the kids in the schools. Helping out at Asilo. This is a very under-funded convalescent home in Antigua. Students get hands on, even addressing some serious ulcers. May 21, 2011.
