It’s really been a great experience. And now I’m ready for the experience to wrap up and transition to motherhood.

Sunday, May 22, 2011. How I found out we're having a boy. Apparently not. After I explained what I wanted, the girl says back to me, "So you want the outside of the cake to have pink or blue icing? Are you freaking kidding me? Did a bakery employee just tell me the sex of my first child? They couldn't wait a half hour for her to come back? I gave them a freaking sealed envelope! Wouldn't that make someone pause? Next time, it'll be pics of my baby shower that I'm having this weekend!

As soon as I put the bedding on it, Maya hopped right in looking very adorable. However, not something we want to encourage, hence the tape. Nero loves the furry rug - a little too much. He'll knead it, purring, and then rip out a big mouthful. Strange cat. Aren't the curtains great? Now we're just playing the waiting game so we'll see when he feels like the right time ...
