Silence the Horns is a citizen-led project. Working to address a relatively new form. Of noise pollution that affects communities. The goal is to eliminate non-emergency. Honking at its source, the primary targets. Being horn sounds used for remote locking. And vehicle location. The project goal aligns. With automakers environmental policies. Noise matters. All vehicles can be designed to function without using horn sounds for acoustic alerts, adversely affecting individuals and communities.
