Siler's Path: June 2008

http://www.silerspath.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Commentary and philosophizing inspired by gardening, walking. And a jabberbox named Abigail Violet. Sunday, June 15, 2008. The rains continued into this week, with another good dumping on Friday, but since then it has been sunny, dry and windy - in the end, good conditions for drying things out. So this weekend was dedicated to catching up on weeding and seeding. Saturday I finally got the winter squash and pumpkins planted (Butternut, Sunshine. Here's what you're seeing in the photo:. In front of the ro...

Siler's Path: Big Shots

http://www.silerspath.blogspot.com/2008/04/big-shots.html

Commentary and philosophizing inspired by gardening, walking. And a jabberbox named Abigail Violet. Saturday, April 12, 2008. Today was too rainy for working in the yard, so I went out and did some maintenance on my adopted section of the North Country Trail. In the Rogue River Sate Game Area. The birds didn't seem to mind the rain and were chirping away. I wished I wasn't so busy, I would have liked to watch them. Just me, the birds, the dripping rain and the sound of my ax. Spring rain and birdsong.

Siler's Path: Fighting Critters

http://www.silerspath.blogspot.com/2008/07/fighting-critters.html

Commentary and philosophizing inspired by gardening, walking. And a jabberbox named Abigail Violet. Sunday, July 06, 2008. While the excessive rain has probably been the biggest challenge to gardening this spring and early summer, I've been taking on a couple of other pests as well. I went to the garden one evening in mid June to find that some rabbits had snatched three broccoli plants and snacked on some Swiss chard. Fortunately, they had not yet found the romaine and bibb lettuce. With this success, I...

Siler's Path: January 2008

http://www.silerspath.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

Commentary and philosophizing inspired by gardening, walking. And a jabberbox named Abigail Violet. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. It's a dark, January night. a good time to think about what will be growing in the People's Republic of Perkins this year. Here are my thoughts so far. Now to make sure there is a) the space in my 2,000 square feet, and b) enough time to plant all this and still have time to join some friends for a hike of the Coastal Trail in Lake Superior Provincial Park. Arugula, Astro II.

Siler's Path: Beaver Island

http://www.silerspath.blogspot.com/2008/09/beaver-island.html

Commentary and philosophizing inspired by gardening, walking. And a jabberbox named Abigail Violet. Monday, September 01, 2008. We're back from a week on Beaver Island. The week was so relaxing that the camera rarely came out. But I did snap a picture of Abbey on her first fishing trip. She out-fished me two-to-one. Here are some photos. From the first few days of our trip, taken by my friend Eric Doyle. Posted by Paul Haan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Add your name if you follow Siler's Path!

Joshua 24:15 .as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. We recently had dinner at Applebees in Des Moines and Jake was excited to find out that there was a man going around making balloon animals for people. His creations were amazing. check out his portfolio at www.creationswithatwist.com. It was fun to watch him make the balloons at each table.definitely a little more exciting than the typical weiner dog balloon Jake loves to get at the farmer's market!

Monday, August 20, 2007. On Saturday, August 4th, I hiked one of my favorites. You immediately go through a small patch of woods and then climbs up Black Balsam Knob. Ool in the m. Orning, about 65-70 degrees fahrenheit. It was a nice hike up. The trail over Black Balsam and on to Tennant Mountain. I thought that a pic of the plaque at the top of the moun. M if I didn't.

http://joshandkris.blogspot.com/2009/12/amazing-grace.html

Joshua 24:15 .as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Our laptop is still not behaving. In fact, it is sitting on the bottom shelf of the computer desk right now. Therefore, there are still not more pictures to share. I hope to have someone look at it soon so we can get this blog up to a better standard again! I decided that even though I can't post pictures right now, I should post cute stories or little "tidbits" at least. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

SILER STUDIOS GALLERY | The Art Of Buzz Siler

July 6, 2015. We are headed to Wisconsin and Arizona to visit kids and grandkids! Siler Gallery will not be open until July 20th…so get ready to party then! We moved Siler Gallery to the painting studio! June 2, 2015. After opening a pop-up Siler gallery in Paris last summer, and painting in front of the public, I decided that I liked it so much that I would move my Portland Siler Gallery to my painting studio at the corner of NW 20th and Vaughn. I set up a full bar (where everything is free!
