March 3, 2014. Starting Line: Position yourself in the proper pace group area. Large races will have pace times posted. Otherwise use a 9 min/mile pace as an average for the crowd and line up in the front half of the crowd if you plan to run faster or back half if you plan to run slower. Negative Splits: Run the first half of the race SLOWER than the second half. This proven race strategy will help you finish stronger and ultimately faster than if you start out too quickly and fade. 1 Sip early and often.

CB Insights의 분석 (2012년 1분기 2015년 1분기) 에 따르면, 평균적으로 테크벤처회사가 IPO를 통해 조달하는 금액이 약 $100M (1100억원) 정도인데, $100M 이상 규모로 비상장벤처회사가 펀딩을 받은 실적과 비교해 보면, 최근에는 오히려 후자의 경우가 더 많다. 그래서 최근에는 $100M 이상 규모의 Late-Stage 펀딩을 “Private IPO”라고 표현하기도 한다. 즉 Private이지만 IPO만큼 펀딩을 한다는 의미이다.
