Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Playing Catch Up-A Guide to My Xi'an. Finally I washed my clothes from the trip. I was hanging clothes on my balcony when a bunch of Chinese sized bottle rockets were shot at me, exploding all around my balcony with me cowering behind the ledge trying to get back into my room. Yet another confirmation that China and safety do not go hand in hand. This is not even all of the clothes, i had socks laying in the sun inside my room and on the ledge of the balcony. This is my bank.

Monday, October 31, 2011. 6:30am: wake up, roll around in bed, get ready, and pull myself downstairs for a hike to a former sky burial site. These are Chachas, they are put there by people in the hopes that they will prevent the hill from falling where there are holes. And down here is a muni stone, I don't know how to spell it, but it is supposed to bring good fortune I believe. Friday, September 30, 2011. 4 Days of 12. September 20: The Old City. After the tour we visited a large Mosque in Kashgar city. The Mosque is the largest in China I think, though that may be wrong. I feel bad because my facts on this one are really bad, but I think it can accommodate like 40, 000 people praying but because the women are supposed to pray at home it really doesn't get that full ever it sounded like. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Turkish Food in China. There is a lack of cellphone etiquette in this country. If you are at lunch with somebody they may text the whole time and not talk to you. Just know this. There is a lot, a lot, of studying that needs to be done and English classes haven't even started yet. Chinese name: LuRuiYa.
