The Grand Tour: April 2013
http://vodhdb.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Light started to fade as the sun slowly dove for the horizon. The golden hour quickly approached, the stone walls of Vaumarcus castle taking on a hue of imperial yellow, satisfying in contrast to the glistening blue-green water of Lake Neuchâtel below. At the foot of the castle there is much running and giggling. The smiles of happy children playing a game of tag in-between pear and apple trees laden with fruit ready for harvest. Lunging, chasing, gaining, tag! Gustave and his sib...

The Grand Tour: A Voyage Across the Americas
http://vodhdb.blogspot.com/2013/11/ebook-release.html
Tuesday, July 15, 2014. A Voyage Across the Americas. Henri’s first-hand accounts of his travels in the New World reflect his observations on a variety of subjects: the grandeur of nature (made both from the vantage point of an artist and avid botanist); racial injustice and social inequality; his meetings with noted Swiss scientists such as Louis Agassiz; and his colorful encounters with European emigrants and wily government officials. Six years from when I started this project, Henri. Compare Pulitzer...
