Clean up – Day 63. August 1, 2015. Friday morning we had to go back to site to clean up. The fridge had to be emptied, art supplies had to be put away, and the floors had to be mopped. It was quite a lot to clean, but you should always make your bed and leave a thank you note before you leave when someone let’s you stay. And then they’re gone – Day 62. It’s been a while…. Just a few things. July 14, 2016. I know horoscopes are a little silly to believe in, but they’re always fun to read. Around April, when things were rough, I read one that kind of gave me hope. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Jacob met us for lunch that day and he was able to get home alittle early so we could do some sledding. Brenna loves sledding and built her own sled hill in the backyard following all the snow from Winter Storm Linus. Monday, April 28, 2014. I thought that was a great idea, so we rummaged through her closet until we found a very Sally-ish outfit and completed it with her classic top-of-the-head bow. However, before we left for school we had to winter-proofed the outfit. She's the only Sally that ever had to wear a snow bib and snow boots, but we made it work. Brenna loved it and proved to have some natural talent for some of the events. Thursday, May 29, 2014. 1st Grade Field Trip. I've been very pleased that we've been able to enjoy all the school activities that I thought we would miss out on by moving schools. All things that we missed in Texas, we've got to take part in here in Canada! Like spring pictures, Dr. Seuss Day, class field trips, and Field Day! She shouted out "We caught a crawfish! We caught a crawfish! It's called a crawfish! She got a good laugh out of that! As far as field trips go, this has been our best so far.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Saturday, August 16, 2014. My Mom and Dad came up for their first visit to Canada over Brenna's birthday. We didn't get to do anything big, but we all enjoyed seeing some of the sights in our fair town of Sarnia. We took a scenic drive through downtown Sarnia on the waterfront of the St. Clair River. We stopped off at a few of the beaches of Lake Huron, and we visited the Bluewater Bridge. All around Sarnia has proved to be beautiful this summer! Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
