Tuesday, February 24, 2009. WPPI - Part 1 of 4 - Who, What, When, Where, Why? So if you have been trying to reach but have been unsuccessful this past week, it's because I was in Vegas. No, I didn't go to try and win big or get in a bunch of trouble (and hope it stays in Vegas). I went to WPPI 2009! Part 1: Into to WPPI (what it is, who was there, why it exists, and what I got out of it). Part 3: Night photoshoot with Bob Davis and friends (gotta take pictures! Anyway onto finish Part 1! Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Fun with the 85 f/1.4. About two weeks ago I rented a lens I'm considering purchasing, the Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D, and it is a BEAUTY! Gorgeous bokeh, razor thin depth of field, amazingly sharp. however I'm gonna hold out for Nikon to release an AF-S version as it is a little slow to focus in low-light (please, Nikon, pretty please release one soon! Friday, May 30, 2008. This past Thursday, I got a chance to hang out with quite a few other photogs, and we had a blast. Armin set the whole thing up, and we had Kenny Kim from Chicago, as well as Paul Price (of PSquared Photographic), Peter Bang, and Troy Woods (of ClarkBailey Company) all hanging around Reston Town Center.
