It was a very short walk and only a little cheering and yelling time for all that hard work! It was great though and we appreciate that Brian, Linda and Tim were willing to come for the celebration. So, for his birthday, he wanted prehistoric creatures on his banner and for his cake. No dinosaurs though, for a change. Just prehistoric creatures. Did I know what that means? Nope But, luckily Aspen has read many books and taught me and Jason. So, these are the results. I think it was a success, but he was more excited about Lego Harry Potter, go figure! We have pictures of the children at the lake yesterday. I almost always forget the camera! There are two really fun lakes to swim in here. But, to be honest, our children have spent more time playing in the mud, then actually swimming. We were there for over 3 hours yesterday playing in the mud! Joel is making mini lakes and rivers. It was cool.

Monday, 5 July 2010. It seems I have been able to cram having 2 children and a high maintenance husband and studying an intensive course into everyday life. I am drained and exhausted but oh so slightly smug. In reality i am sure i only managed to squeeze 20 hours a week (60 hours recommended! I developed a very soothing mantra of "it'll have to do" It has taught me to be less critical and more objective. My work is saleable and i am pretty pleased with the outcome. It is quite something laying y...I did...
