Nellie Belle, SBD

After we lost Stormy, our Lab X female, to cancer on December 3, 2010, I had decided to wait to get another dog until spring, when housebreaking would be easier due to the nicer weather. That decision lasted all of 24 hours! The following night I was surfing PetFinder.com and saw a cute Lab X at Walton County Animal Control. It was indeed a Merry Christmas in 2010 for Nellie! It isn't very clear, and it was getting dark when we got home so we didn't get any more that first night. 12/16/10- As you can see...

Positively Charmed 2007 black silver Morgan filly
http://www.brookridgemorgans.com/2007filly.htm
X Foxton Frosty Dawn. 2007 smoky black silver mare. Thursday June 14 2007 was Frosty's due date. I'd known for several days that she could go anytime; her udder was absolutely huge. Bleary eyed, I sat in front of the foalcam the last few nights. all night. During the day I functioned in that particular kind of stupor that only those who sit around waiting. and waiting. for their mares to foal can truly understand. Well, on the afternoon of her due date, at 5:15 PM (what a considerate mare! Charli has som...

Callie, 2015 buckskin Morgan filly
http://www.brookridgemorgans.com/Callie.htm
2015 buckskin filly, 100% Foundation. Callie is a blessing in so many ways. I had tried unsuccessfully to breed again since our last foal here in 2008, with a variety of mares, some my own and some leased in other states, all at quite a bit of expense. My last attempt had ended in heartache when Rosie lost her Roadie foal at 9 months gestation in February 2013. Video at 48 hours old. Video at almost 7 weeks. Callie and the bag whip, 1 month old. Callie and the water hose, 3.5 weeks old. 4/14/15, about 3 ...

NOW IN NEW HOMES. Our horses are a part of our family. Selling them is extremely hard, emotionally. We don't ever want to lose track of the horses we sell. We feel it is our responsibility as breeders to ensure that they have a great quality of life and a loving home. forever. With this in mind, our horses are always sold with a right of first refusal in the sales contract. This means that if the new owner ever needs to sell the horse in the future, we would like the first opportunity to buy it back.

Jackson, King of the World
http://www.brookridgemorgans.com/Jackson.htm
So off we went. Poor puppy cried about 2/3rds of the way home but conked out the last stretch of the way, in Jackson GA, where I told him "we're in Jackson now, almost home now buddy, hang in there". So his name came to me- Jackson. Stormy adored him. He is quite the pet- very mellow compared to Stormy's perpetual motion- and he learns quickly. Within a week he knew come, sit, down, wait, and gimme your paw! A happy ending all the way around :-). Jackson and Stormy. Jackson is on top. January 2001. Here ...

Keepsake Party Ponies
http://keepsake-stables.com/pony.html
Our Quarter Horses didn't sell right way and became pasture ornaments. Cait arrived. She was barely 9 months old the first time she pulled herself up to the windowsill to see our horses outside. Yes, a bit later Cait spoke her first word: horsey. Before Cait was 2 years old, she was asking for a pony! That was the start of Keepsake Ponies. Cait recently celebrated her 9th birthday and still loves to ride and drive Pooh Pony! Pooh Pony is also available for Kinder-Kid's Lead Line Riding Lessons. Kelsey wa...
