Some things are just heartbreakingly beautiful ;3;. Given the number of 2D animation fans on my flist, i'm sure that most of you have seen this. but in case you haven't, have a look at the 2009 line-up of student short films from the incredible. Gobelins L'Ecole de L'Image. I love them all, but the first one struck me as particularly brilliant. perfect buildup, and i actually gasped at the end. :D.
