Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I had the misfortune of visiting Atelier Jade's. Site in January on the very day. She left for vacation. Of course, I fell in love with the elephant print cotton fabric. Of course, I bought it. Then I waited. I have to admit, the fabric showed up just about five days after she got back from vacation. That's pretty quick, if you ask me. Tuesday, November 21, 2006. I've concocted a three panel, 8" x 5" card that will have to be hole punched and tied together with ribbon. I'm also thinking about rounded corners. Eek! I send out over 100 cards, and would need 12 die cuts per card. Maybe I should rethink that. Oh, and I also use Photo Stamps. To make custom stamps for the cards. Monday, February 26, 2007. I also brought home a bunch of fabric and leather samples Saturday night (er, Sunday morning) from friends who thought I might be able to use them. Friday, June 30, 2006. Last Day of Work. It's June 30th and today was my last day of work. I worked as an art director for an internet portal/isp/browser company for the past eight and a half years before being laid off today. Quinn picked these two lovely peppers tonight, and they'll end up being a stuffed pepper lunch for the both of us tomorrow. I'm so happy I have one kid who really enjoys growing and eating veggies. Monday, April 21, 2008. We're back from Chattanooga, Tennessee! It was our first time there and we had a great time. The weather was great, and there was so much to do. We could have easily stayed another three or four days. But, alas, it's back to work. And, I've come down with another bug (bronchitis? In the meantime, here's a few snaps of our vacation.
