As a side interest, I stated an aquaculture system for tilapia. I was astonded at the growth rates. It seems that as they get larger than 3, growth rates become exponential. I only feed them catfish pellets and have had great results. The fish in the above picture went from 2 to that size in only 7 months! These are Blue Tilapia (O. aureus).
