I have nothing positive to say about anything and my face feels like it's glued in a frown. I don't want to go to band when I'm like this, but I don't have much choice either. Bruiser, Spike and Skippy had no clue what these things I brought home were, and I was sort of afraid of what I’d read, so I refused to let them get closer than 2-3 feet. But they could SMELL them and thought I’d brought home snacks…chaseable furry snacks! Where is the fairness in life? How can my Rachi be gone?

I find myself sitting at my desk crying at the moment.moved to tears by the pain of a dear friend, who lost his mother a few days ago. She was about the same age as my own parents. I've been incredibly lucky to still have both of my parents at 83 and 81, who celebrated their 60th anniversary 2 days ago, and who are both doing well. Links to this post. Friday, July 18, 2008.
