I realized after I made my last post about Chitwan. I forgot to mention a key event - meeting Katie. Katie is a 4 month old calf. She was supposed to be a twin but the egg didn't quite separate. We're going to India and this is where to find out about the trip. Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Feb 21, 2007, 11:56 pm. Rajasthan is camel country. We have never seen so many camels before. I suppose that's not surprising given that we live in Canada! Camels everywhere - they are used for work, tourism and health care. We've travelled from Varkala, to Madurai, Tanjore, Chennai and Mamallapuram. We have now hooked up with my dad in Delhi. We will be leaving for the wedding in Jaipur within the next day or two. This is my 15 minutes of fame. What is that in web-speak? Monday, April 30, 2007. Remember the Kitchen Aid fridge I was talking about. Well, it was due to arrive at All Temp last week, so I called to find out just when and then drove down to check it out. It was 4-5 years old, white, not dented and downright beautiful.for a fridge. Just look at the difference! I cleared out some of the stuff I had kicking around, but I didn't expect to fit all my refrigerables in the door! Update: Evin's freezer shelf.

This is my 15 minutes of fame. What is that in web-speak? Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Day 13: Pass the Mud Please. If you ignore the drywall mud that landed on the floor, I have spread 2o kgs. Of drywall mud on my kitchen and dining room walls! Most of it is in the kitchen where all the crappy texture was. But the dining room wall has its fair share to conceal the bad plaster job the previous owners did when making the openings, and the fact that my drywall installation wasn't perfect. Can you believe it?
