July 8, 2015. February 17, 2016. By The Travelling Actor. After a lovely couple of days in Florence, we headed down to finish our trip in Rome. The following day we took the tube to piazza San pietro to go Pope spotting. He was in town as it happens but we didn’t fancy the queues which literally stretched arround the whole square. It’s such a change of lifestyle to our last year in London and the pace of life is so much different here.
