Saturday, September 30, 2006. Newmarket 3:10 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes. Welcome to another high rolling blog. High tension was the word today at Newmarket. We had a high rolling horse called "Peeress" running in the 3:10, at least that is what we thought; as events proved otherwise. It transpired that after lunch the horse started running a temperature and the decision was taken to withdraw from the race. So high tension all round, the gamble wasn`t played out as our runner did not go to post.

The x Sir Mark Prescott horse Straw Bear now with Nick Gifford came straight into the champion hurdle picture with an impressive 6 length victory in the fighting 5th hurdle at newcastle today. This morning 9/4 when advised by us was quickly taken and moved into 7/4 and going off at even money. Racinginvest clients had a Christmas cracker today at Kempton when DE SOTO won the Novices Hurdle at 11/4 SP giving trainer Paul Webber a serious contender for The Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham come March. Richard Johnson had an arm chair ride aboard the 5 yo. He was clearly travelling well at the end of the back straight and gave the distinct impression he had something in hand at the business end of the race .
