It was so yummy! 1 lb carrots, peeled. Enough water to cover carrots an inch. 1/3 cup safflower or canola oil. 1 1/2 Tbsp. real maple syrup. 1/2 tsp. vanilla. I keep a chart for each of the boys where they earn stars to "buy" rewards. Moi took Elie to the gift shop at Legoland to look for a Lego set. When he found the one he wanted he plops it on the counter and the cashier asks him if he has enough money. Elie says, "Yes, I have 44 stars.". He says, "No I will go by myself! Saturday, January 31, 2009. Last month I got into a little pomegranate kick. I stumbled upon a recipe that called for pomegranate molases which I had never heard of before. It's a thick syrup made of pomegranate juice used in a lot of Middle Eastern cooking. 4 cups pomegranate juice. 1/4 cup lemon juice.
