Wednesday, October 2, 2013. The Passage of Time. His heart which was once full of love for the partner God placed in is life. Now finds itself with a hole that has not been filled and a love whose focus is now out of reach. Looking forward to the future inevitably means letting go of the past. And in his case, the past was awesome and the future so undefined. His mind full of memories; some he can not shake and others he would never want to. His road has been filled with support, but lonely all the same.

Thursday, November 8, 2012. It has been a month - I am surviving. It has been a month, a month of missing my love. A month of tears, a month of memories, a month of walking and month of not know why or what comes next. A month of having a difficult time sleeping and concentrating. Do I have question for God about why he allowed this to happen? Of course I do. Do I have answers to those questions? No Do I question his choice? Yup Do I believe He has a plan? One of Sonya's favorite verses was Jeremiah 29:11.

On Monday, she drove her self to her next radiation appointment, but when she checkin in, she was nauseated and the staff asked her a few questions and decided to admit her to the hospital and forgo the radiation treatment for the day. Thursday, November 17, 2011. Answered prayer and a time to give thanks! This is over a 50% reduction in my tumor markers- -Praise the Lord for answered prayers! He (and Simon and I) were very excited to hear these good results. What a blessing! With Thanksgiving right around the corner we have so much to be thankful for.
