Looking at it I think I should have set my white balance to tungsten given the light pollution (the yellow tinge). It's quite hard to gauge the correct exposure when working with such long exposures but perhaps I should have gone with f/4 rather than f/3.2. F/32, 6min, ISO100. Simon Tener - Workshop (Field). Tuesday, 11 June 2013. 1 What are the limitations of a focal plane shutter? They eventually wear out. They have create problems when using flash. Can distort subject diagonally when moving fast. 2 What is the definition of depth of field? The in focus area on the camera. 3 How is depth of field increased? Lowering the aperture, ie. F/2.8 down to f/5.6. 4 Why is the automatic diaphragm fully open until the shutter release is pressed? Because the mirror is still in front.
