One possible use of sequential narrative is as a method of explaining ideas about a site in ways otherwise not possible. Here, a series of images were taken at 1 minute intervals on a trip from the subject’s home in Tufnell Park to the crest of Primrose Hill. Using the sequential techniques of comic book art, these chronographics mark the progress from the protagonist’s residence in Tufnell Park and from the residence of William Blake at 28 Poland Street Soho, to the crest of Primrose Hill, a sacred site in Druidry. Save the first, which was laser cut from a CAD file into engraving plastic, these were then drawn down to aluminium engraving metal and printed by the traditional intaglio method.
