It’s Only Money. 9 1/2 Things You SHOULD Spend Money On. Let’s get to the 9 1/2 things you SHOULD spend money on. 9 1/2 things you. Just because we watch our grocery bill so carefully. Doesn’t mean that we eat Ramen noodles and Cheese Puffs all day. Fruits and vegetables are a mandatory staple in our home. We just find ways to make it as inexpensive as possible by price matching. Buying in season and on sale, searching our local farmers’ market, and growing a small garden. 2 A Good Cause. I’m refer...

It’s Only Money. Are You Paying Too Much For Eyeglasses? My Zenni Optical Review. My eyes aren’t. So, I decided that contacts were more my speed. For a week. I was constantly worried that my contact lenses were going to dry out, stick to my eye, and have to be removed with a pry bar. Plus, touching my eye every single morning and evening wasn’t exactly something I looked forward to. My 1st Pair of Glasses (The Traditional Route). Here’s the total charges. Why is my Electric Bill So High? 7 Ways to Save Electricity
http://simplefamilyfinance.com/why-is-my-electric-bill-so-high-7-ways-to-save-electricity
It’s Only Money. Why is my Electric Bill So High? 7 Ways to Save Electricity. Electricity…unless you’re Amish, you probably have it. And if you’re Amish there’s a good chance you’re not reading this anyway. My point is that we all have to deal with electric bills. And electric bills can be rather mysterious. One month your bill is high and the next month it’s higher, so everyone in the family starts blaming each other for leaving the lights on or watching too much TV. 1 Wash your clothes with cold water.

It’s Only Money. My 2012 Expenses Revealed! Every Penny Is Accounted For. I’m writing this article in the spirit of full disclosure. I want to be open and transparent with my Simple Family Finance family (that’s you! And since frugality and cutting expenses is such a big part of what we discuss, sharing my expenses feels like the right thing to do. In other words, while we may be able to deduct a portion of our heating bill on our taxes because of a “home office”, the entire heating bill, pho...The other...

It’s Only Money. 4 Deliciously Inexpensive Fall Recipes For You To Enjoy. I tend to have a love-hate relationship with Fall (or as the rich people refer to it…Autumn). I LOVE the jeans and light sweatshirt combo. It’s a very comfortable go-to outfit for me. I LOVE temperatures in the 50 – 70 range. I LOVE the reds, yellows, and oranges that show up in October. I LOVE football and bonfires and fattening up with 10 pounds of candy around Halloween. I HATE that winter’s right around the corner. 1 Mix the ye...

http://singlesimplestudio.blogspot.com/2014/01/2014-goals.html
Thursday, January 2, 2014. It is time for me to set my yearly goals. I'm so excited this year to be setting goals that don't include paying off debt! I'm currently contributing 10% of my salary to this account (pre-tax) every month. My employer also contributes a very nice 12%! 1 Swim twice a week. 2 Do yoga twice a week.

Thursday, September 18, 2014. Wacky Wall Lighting - Need Ideas! My studio apartment has some amazing natural light - during the day, anyway! But it lacks overhead lights of any kind in the main room.
