Simple food, looking good. Instead of using curry from a pot, this is so much nicer and easy too. 2 onions, finely chopped. 3 garlic cloves, very finely chopped. 1 tbsp fresh ginger, very finely chopped. We used small tomatoes. Leftover roast chicken, roughly chopped. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. 2 tbsp plain yoghurt. Steamed rice, to serve. Fresh coriander, chopped, to serve. 2 tsp ground coriander. 1 tsp ground cumin. 1 tsp garam masala. Half tsp ground cardamom. Half tsp ground cinnamon.

Out of season, so I scoured the freezer (red mullet! And the larder (a fennel bulb! Then used the mandoline to slice a funnel bulb wafer thin. Marinated the fennel in some of the sauce. Simple food, looking good. Courgette, feta, flatbread. More of a lunch, or even a packed lunch, than a supper. Easy cooking and even easier eating. Makes 2 filling wraps. Fresh peas (shelled weight). 130g, but frozen are fine. 1, very finely grated zest and a squeeze of juice. 2, the smaller size, white or wholemeal. 1 big, or a couple of baby gem leaves. A handful, washed. Red chilli, chopped. Quantity is a personal matter. If you have fresh peas, fill a small pan with salted water and bring to a rollin...

Simple Food. Healthy Life. | easy cooking done right
Kitchen Gadgets I Can’t Live Without. Simple Food. Healthy Life. Easy cooking done right. The Dish on Frozen Vegetables and Easy Chicken-Vegetable Curry. December 9, 2011. Simple Food Life | My kitchen, my life…
My kitchen, my life…. I feel like I haven’t been here for ages, but it’s actually only been a week. A bit of a difficult week at home, so I’ve not really been in kitchen enough to have anything to write about. I did make a second attempt at some chocolate protein cups though. My first attempt was a couple of months ago, and although they were delicious, the presentation needed quite a bit of work! Not perfect yet, but still really pretty! For the Versatile Blogger award! Thank you, Chloe! Blogging is bra...
