I remain grateful for my job. It's a happy place to go to every morning, and I think I'll try to hang on there for as long as it makes sense. Katers comes home in less than three weeks! Made a banana cake last night. Still trying to master French on Duolingo. I've sold a few Prom corsages for Little Bohemian Heart.

A new tradition might have been discovered, too, as I ended up listening to kool108 Christmas tunes on the radio for most of the day as I cooked . I'm happy for Katie that she is able to be with Avi again in Israel, but we miss her sparkle and energy. And as Dad's health continues to decline, we never seem to know what each new day will bring for him. Sunday, January 24, 2016. Dad fell a couple times at home and had to go to the ER for evaluation. Because he was so weak, he was admitted to the hospital for a few days. Yesterday we moved him to a Transitional Care Unit to receive extra therapy in hopes of increasing his strength enough to go back home with Mom. It's been a rough week. Sunday, January 17, 2016.
