Käsmu: the Estonian village with a surprisingly touching story. In the Estonian village of Käsmu, only two relics remain that hint at its Soviet-occupied past. We visited with hopes of seeing these – a rusted metal watchtower, and a concrete deer statue – and to understand more about why this tiny village is making “millions of Estonians jealous”. Tall coniferous trees lined our route on the 30 minute drive from Võsu (where we stayed in a spacious, nautical-themed lodge. So I had high hopes for Käsmu too.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. Miss Ivey, part of the Class of 2011, wanted a fun, funky, and colorful Luau theme for her graduation celebration instead of typical school colors. The main colors of the party were pink, lime green, turquoise, and orange. The main centerpiece of the party were the "puffs" hanging from the ceiling. We got this idea from.
