Wednesday, January 11, 2012. We had a great Christmas! Megan and Erin and her family came over for our traditional "Breakfast for Dinner" on Christmas Eve. My mom likes to host a brunch on Christmas day, so a few years ago we started making breakfast for dinner on Christmas Eve. This year we had french toast, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and orange julius. We make cookies together (for Santa, of course! Before we wrap up. Did I mention that the boys were excited about their money? Soph loved her new baby.

This year, I made some yummy Macaroon Kisses. they are delicious (and I usually don't like coconut! 1/3 cup butter (softened). 3 oz cream cheese (softened). 190; cup granulated sugar. 2 teaspoons almond extract. 1 ½ cups flour. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 189; teaspoon salt. 5 cups coconut (divided). 48 kisses (dark chocolate). Tuesday, May 15, 2012. We love our Superhero Teachers. Our school celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by treating our teachers like superheroes. We helped with the door decorations for the kids' teachers. We invited each of Ms. Knowles' students to write why she is a superhero. Olivia's teacher has been teaching for 29 years and is retiring this year. She's been a great teacher for Liv and has supported her and helped her do good things. We are grateful for good teachers! Tuesday, March 20, 2012. This sweet girl turned two! We had a party full of sweets to celebrate. The invitations looked like cute pieces of candy (and cost a fortune to mail, just fyi :) . Inside each package are 5 circles with a cute poem that included all of the info for the party. Our little sweet shop with lots of varieties of purple and pink candies, cookies, and sweets. Saturday, December 1, 2012. Festival of Trees 2012. Megan pulled off another great tree this year in memory of her boy Chance. the theme was the great outdoors. All of her decorations were of moose, bears, squirrels, and owls. She did such a great job on it! I got to go and help put it together on decorating day.
