Monday, August 22, 2011. St George Ironman 2011. On May 7th the Simply Because Foundation was chosen as an official Charity for the St George Ironman. We were given the incredible opportunity to host an aid station. The Ironman is the ultimate challenge for seasoned athletes. We were honored to be able to participate. Board members from Simply Because and about 200 volunteers manned the station all day. To be apart of such an remarkable event was truly astounding. Posted by simply because.
