Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Forks, Friends, and the Fourth! The 4th of July was a great day! The Oglesby's brought glow sticks that were another huge hit and kept the kids (and adults) entertained for hours. We ended the night with a great display of fireworks. It was a great day! Here are LOTS of pictures from our day! Well first of all, I LOVE the new look! What great pictures. It was so good to see everyone! I feel how hot it was just sitting here! Tuesday, May 20, 2008. To Kill A Cat. I am so mad as I post this and I know some of you can relate (especially my sweet neighbor since she has just dealt with the same thing)! Sorry all you cat lovers! This black and white cat has tortured poor Sophi for months now and will sit in our yard and look at her knowing that she is locked up in the house. Sunday, February 10, 2008. Our ladies group is currently doing a Bible Study on Marriage, based on the book, "What a Husband Needs from His Wife", by Melanie Chitwood. God is changing my life and revitalizing my marriage through this study. It seems like at least twice a year I think about (and sometimes pray about) where my priorities are. What is really important to me? Where do I spend my time, my worries, my thinking, etc? And I didn't even realize how much. Times of refreshing come from the Lord!

Things I'm Thankful for Today. 1 My parents who don't hesitate to come to the rescue. 2 A sweet friend who brought me a fabulous Starbucks drink today just because. 3 New tennis shoes that came from a sweet anonymous gift card donor for my bday. Thank you whoever you are! 4 Kids who love to sing and praise God in loud and fun ways. 5 A wonderful pre-school minister who knows how to encourage people (me) without even trying. Things I am thankful for at this moment as they pop in my head:. 1 My husband and all that he does for me to encourage me and support me, even when I'm spinning out of control. 2 My kids - I've had field trips with both of them the last 2 days. I went with Aly to Huntsville Space and Rocket Center on Monday and to the Zoo with Drew today. 7 God's faithfulness - through the good and the bad Great is His faithfulness!
