{these sweet days}: {n}'s first joke
http://daytime4.blogspot.com/2007/10/ns-first-joke.html
Love them more than one could imagine. Thursday, October 25, 2007. So today after gymnastics, 2-year old {n} told his first joke. Totally unprovoked and out of the blue. We hadn't even done knock knock jokes with {a} for quite some time. We did go through a phase in the car where knock-knock jokes were a very common occurrence with some pretty lame punchlines that nevertheless received quite the uproarious laughter from the 5-year old who also happened to be the joketeller. I guess her theory is that.

Love them more than one could imagine. Friday, May 18, 2007. Grow, baby, grow! Here are our garden boxes! They've already provided much fun and excitement (well, mainly the pea gravel around them has been the fun and excitement - note the bucket and shovels and you'll know what {n} has been up to for the past week). A} was so excited the first morning after I planted: "They've grown, Mommy, they've grown! But if they're plants, why did you put them in the ground? Plants, and 4-6 TOMATO. Dontcha think tha...

They never like to wear socks (if possible) and throwing crocs or flip flops on are way easier with footless. N} has gotten so tall . cutie too. AND, love that hat Miss {a}!

Love them more than one could imagine. Thursday, September 04, 2008. First day of school - preschool for {n}. I can't believe that our little guy is even old enough to go to preschool! He was SO excited to go to school and was so comfortable seeing as he'd been going there to take {a} for the past three years. He was in his zone and knew just what to do. He ran to me at noon with a big hug and a "MOMMA! Yay, that felt great! Before going to school - is it time to go yet? That doggone bright sun again.

Love them more than one could imagine. Sunday, April 22, 2007. Captain Plastic to the rescue! Well, it's almost over at this point, but oh well! We've actually been doing a little more around our house to be more environmentally responsible and a lot of it has to do with our daughter. So, I'm kind of embarassed to admit this, but we just started recycling in the past couple of months. It kind of all got going with the Jack Johnson song on the Curious George CD -. I'm kind of thinking - why not? But now w...

{these sweet days}: January 2007
http://daytime4.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Love them more than one could imagine. Friday, January 26, 2007. Things I've already learned this morning. 1 You cannot wake up at 5:19 and expect to be on time for a 5:30 yoga class. 2 There are some WACKY poses in yoga.but man does it feel good when one of them clicks.especially before 6AM! 3 Decaf Starbucks does the job just as well for me.it's the experience and the flavor that matter.oh, and a LOT of cream! 4 No matter how many shirts you have, the comfy cozy mocha colored one always feels just right.
