Sisterhood of Police Wives: I'm Back in the Saddle
http://sisterhoodpw.blogspot.com/2012/08/im-back-in-saddle.html
August 2, 2012. I'm Back in the Saddle. Picture from Google Images. I have noticed a trend in the police wife bloggers I follow….we have all dropped off the map. I’m not even sure if I was ever on the map and I need to fix that. Blogging is hard for me. After I get home from work, cook dinner, bathe kids, read books and put kids to bed, well, frankly…. I ‘m. Of course you do! Here’s to us, cheers! Oh, and stay tuned for an update on The Law Dog family. August 4, 2012 at 6:49 PM. 3 1 link to the product t...

Sisterhood of Police Wives: November 2010
http://sisterhoodpw.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
November 22, 2010. The Science of Shift Changes. I am kind of mad at myself, I was so excited about blogging and I have let my blog fall off the face of the earth. My work picked up and LawDog’s schedule changed, not to mention a whole host of other things that have kept me from keeping up on my blog. I started catching up on my blog reading today with Ammo in the Dryer. And A Police Wife. It got me energized to get back in the game. Does your husband take this as seriously as mine does? Not only did he ...

Covering Blue: May 2015
http://coveringblue.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 17, 2015. Of the toil of policing, JT quipped the other day: "It's like trying to empty the ocean with a soup can.". There were two murders in the city last night. Two districts were tied-up. At one point, I counted 92 dispatchable calls pending in the queue (not including around 100 call for report cars for break and enters and property crimes. The drunk woman we breached two nights ago oscillated between pleasant and jovial to bouts of maniacally violent rages. Ugly, ugly city bitch! I supp...

Covering Blue: Extended
http://coveringblue.blogspot.com/2014/03/extended.html
Tuesday, March 11, 2014. JT was approved for his request to be extended in the District for one more year beyond his mandatory transfer time. If rumors hold true, the transfer policy will be changing this year to allow 7 years in a division, rather than 5. That would potentially mean an extra two years with my partner. Covering Blue: Summer
http://coveringblue.blogspot.com/2015/05/summer.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I'm looking forward to the summer. We are doing some renovations to the house; I'm putting up a garage. The only fall-back has been a caveat that the city put on my property 65 years ago for an intended drainage basin on the easternmost five feet of the lot. It was never put in, and it's clear that it never will be. Nonetheless, the city won't allow a variance. Red tape is red tape. Please respect that this blog is intended to be anonymous. Thx. http://sisterhoodpw.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
December 1, 2010. In Memory of Deputy Samuel Kent Brownlee. When Law Dog became a police officer I was often asked, “Don’t you worry about him getting killed? My heart goes out to Deputy Brownlee’s wife Heather and their four children. Your husband is a true hero and his life will be celebrated in our household. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). In Memory of Deputy Samuel Kent Brownlee. Ammo in the Dryer. My Life Right Now. Life While Handcuffed to a Lawman.

Between the Shifts...journey of a police family: Spa Date
http://talesofaforcewife.blogspot.com/2014/11/spa-date.html
Between the Shifts.journey of a police family. Monday, November 17, 2014. This is what the spa looks like to me now. Coffee with an almost 2-year-old Cowboy. I painted Tiny Bears nails while The Cowboy took a soak. JJ is at school. JR just started a three week course. Police and public safety or something like that. Another paper to add to his beefy resume when it is done. It has been 4 months since we moved. Life feels normal again. Monday, November 17, 2014. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Me, my life and everything inbetween. Monday, January 03, 2011. SO SAD. I KNOW. Wow. This is just sad. I'm so ashamed. I'm cringing with embarrasment. I claim to be a writer. I profess my love for writing and reading and devouring books and words. And yet, there are a good solid 6 months between my last blog post and now. Tragic, really. Sigh. So that said, one to my.what to call these? 2 Move my butt! 3 Push my passions! I feel great about my post. I might just take an eco-mulligan and print it out ...

Sisterhood of Police Wives: January 2011
http://sisterhoodpw.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
January 12, 2011. When Law Dog is on duty he usually calls me once he gets out on the street. We chat about Tubbs and Crockett and the shenanigans they pulled before bed and then I always say, “Have a good night, I love you.”. Dark thoughts came pouring in to my mind like if something were to happen to him, would he know how important he is to me and much I would miss him? How would I explain this to Tubbs and Crockett? Would they know how great their dad truly is? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hoping ther...
