One woman's journey from darkness to light. Right now it’s bright and sunny. This morning it was cold and foggy. The leave will start falling; the ground will be littered in jewel tones of red and yellow. I’ll walk through the piles of dry leaves to hear them crunch beneath my feet. It will be glorious. The above is my dream. That scenario won’t happen, but I’m going to pretend it will. Those thoughts make me happy. Is my life any different than it ever has been? I like who I am now. Yes Our Hands Are Full. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. What a difference a year makes. When we made the shift from homeschooling to enrolling our three bigs in the local public school last year, I felt like a failure. In the weeks between registering. Our children and them starting class, I worried. Over what this meant for their futures, and how they would be treated by the school system and their peers, as well as more mundane concerns like getting up and out the door every day and school clothes and supplies.
