Either there is a competition because I am younger than they are, or we have nothing in common because they are younger and we are at different stages. Or, I just can’t relate to the people. Loving life with the Lifemaker. August 13, 2015. I realised one thing that happened to me when i stopped blogging – or rather, one thing that changed that’s why i stopped blogging: i was aware. I was aware that people would be reading and judging what i was saying, or making an impression on who i was because of what i was writing. but then i lost the moments of reflection and revelation that occurred whenever i penned my thoughts down. Here is me attempting to rediscover the quiet moments by writing.

There's love where we started. In the soil, flowers and pine needles. Where only the future whispered, "Come forward.". Before the dusk would fall. Where bike rides turned to triumphant races. New friends meant sisters for life. Where music was simply music. And we smiled because we. We sit now. Rocking forward. back. forward. Wood creaking beneath the weight of history.
