Friday, March 4, 2011. Look mom, no training wheels! A couple of days ago I walked with the kids while they rode bikes around the neighborhood. I noticed that Kanton looked like he wasn't really needing his training wheels and I told him we should try taking them off soon to see how he would do without them. The next day Traci came over to watch the kids for me for a few minutes and when I came home I saw this. Kanton asked Traci to hold the bike up for him while he started out and he just took off!

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Brig got to go to his first Pinewood Derby a couple of weeks ago. Ray helped him make a bullwagon. They spent hours on it and Brig was thrilled with it when it was finished. He kept telling me he hoped his car would be the FASTEST. Or the BEST LOOKING. Well one can only hope for that but I kept trying to bring him back down to earth and tell him that whatever happened he just needed to go have fun and be a good sport however it turned out. Thursday, December 12, 2013. Birthday outfit from Grandma. Her preschool teacher discourages treats on their birthdays, so we made a cute butterfly snack with pretzels, grapes, a little tissue paper, some google eyes, sparkly vinyl and pipe cleaners.
