Monday, June 27, 2011. First zucchini bread of the year. Saturday, June 25, 2011. 2nd egg of the flock. We got our very first Easter Egg this afternoon! For some reason the pictures do not show you just how blue this egg is. Nevertheless, it is blue! Yes, I said it.the cows! They love the hens so much. Thursday, May 5, 2011. I yelled at Lulu, and went to check on the chick. She was ok, damaged emotionally, but ok. You see we used to have 32 chickens and we are now down to 17. 10 were given to a neighbor, and the others were murdered. Lulu (and probably Kaylee) have been eating very well these last few months. PS- I know I look stoned here, but what can I say? It was a very long day for the 2 of us). Can you believe it, the garden is finally in! I cant wait until harvest time comes, yum!

When I told Aiden that the annual Lions Club Stick Horse Show was that evening, he said, I'll need a cowboy hat, just like Uncle Lance! So naturally we went right out and bought one for him and one for Cooper! Seriously, the Stick Horse Show used to be cute, but lets be honest, kinda blah, UNTIL its your children out there with stick horses and cowboy hats! Those two are absolutely adorable! Looks like they had so much fun!

Our Life In Time. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Little Sister was born June 24, 2011at 12:19pm almost exactly 24 hours before her oldest brother's birthday! Ellie was 7 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long. She took her time getting here as I was in labor for nearly 15 hours.This was not something that we were used to. Both boys' labor and deliveries were under 4 hours each. The early laboring is what took forever. Once I hit 6cm (about 9am on June 24) I was in the home stretch! She is a keeper for sure! June 25, 2007.
