Friday, April 18, 2014. Center Step plus Color challenge. Today begins a new fortnight challenge for us at Digi Haven. Our theme: Black and White plus one other color - I decided to use RED. Here's my card. and I absolutely LOVE. She was really FUN. Our Sponsor is Kenny K. You can find this image, Hockey Girl. My card is a 6 x 6 Center step card with a red base. This project is quick and easy to make. Its prefect for a hostess gift, home decor, centerpiece of use the small one for place card at a table. I started with 3 clay pots in the following sizes, 4", 3" and 2.5". You can decide which size you would like to make. If you are only making one, the directions are the same, the only difference would be the size of paper strips you would be using for each size clay pot. 4" pot - cut 12 strips at 1" x 7" (four of each pattern/color). 4" pot - cut two 2" circles.

But, only because my sharing today is a Design Team card for Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Today starts a new challenge with Team B using Sketch #149. So here is my card.so Shiny and Sparkly! I started with a white A2 card for the base. Next I layered pattern paper from K and Company. Valentine by Kelly Panacci. Anyway, I used a Jumbo Scallop border. Die from My Favorite Things.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Tuesday Tutorial: Masking with Rubber Stamps. Today's tutorial is a short and easy explanation of how to combine two or more stamped images to make one cohesive stamped image or scene. Stamp the image you want twice on your cardstock. Cut out one of your images. Place a piece of removable adhesive to the back of the image you just cut out. Attach the cut out image on top of the other stamped image, being sure to cover it completely with the cut out piece. Get our clear stamps here.
