Is Summer Really Over? Well it was just a few months ago (my last blog post) that I was writing about school being out and now today I am thinking "Is Summer Really Over". But we did have some exciting things happen this summer;. We went on a week long trip to Leavenworth but Nicole was sick the entire time. Poor sweet girl! I love making cards! Here is one I've made recently:. There's just something about mushrooms, buttons and bows that makes me smile and that is what this card makes me do. My goal in the next few months is to send out more cards.just because! I know I like getting a hand written card in the mail just because. It really blesses me and I want to bless someone and make them feel good. Sometimes or should I say most of the time those cards I receive are just the thing I need to better my day. I love making these 3 x 3 cards with gift box. They are so cute and so fun to make. Very easy! I put 3 to 4 cards in each box with envelopes and stickers to seal the envelopes. The "For You" label is cut on the Cricut using the Lacy Labels cartridge. I got the instructions for making it here. The lady has a cute French accent and makes her boxes collapsible. My Sassy friends favorite dessert that I make is this 3 layer cream cheese and raspberry thingy. It doesn't really have a name yet. It's very yummy! I'm not sure where I got the recipe, but I did change it up from the original recipe so I guess I can say it's my recipe. Maybe I will call it "Grace's 3 layer cheese cake with raspberry topping" or maybe that's just to long of a name. What do you think I should call it? How about "Sassy Dessert"? Do you ever feel like you are always reminding your kids about what they need to do? Well just one of my kids always needs reminding and by the picture you can probably guess which one.
