No doubt, you have heard of the unprecedented double-blizzard that attacked our metropolitan area. The story goes that we edged out the record snowfall of 54.4″ in 1889 with our 54.9″. I don’t know about 54.9″, but we did get a hell of a lot of snow. It’s been an interesting week. The snow accumulation from both blizzards is higher than my front porch.

Stash 'n Stitch. To see where the stash and stitches take me…. Basic and Quick Hat Pattern. Nothing Fancy. Just plain. Long/wide enough rim to fold up to cover his ears. Using bulky weight yarn, this hat goes fast. This particular size fits a 21-22″ head circumference. Yarn: Bulky weight. I used Rowan Rowanspun Chunky. It is discontinued, but bulky weight is what you want. Finished: 20 circ and 11 height. Knit a 1×1 rib for 2 inches. Switch to stockinette for 6 inches (knit every round). Notify me of new...
