Wife, New Mom, and follower of Christ. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Sunday we had the privilege of celebrating Claire's amazing daddy. It was a relatively calm day. We were both in a wedding the day before. We went to brunch with friends and then headed home. It was a very lazy day filled with Netflix and naps! Later in the day, my family came over and we grilled. While the way we celebrated was nothing crazy, Claire and I are extremely crazy about her daddy! Claire is the luckiest little lady in the world!

Wife, New Mom, and follower of Christ. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Bumpdate: Weeks 20 and 21. Weeks 20 and 21 were very similar so I am combining them this week! Baby is continuing to pack on fat and I am sure getting cuter by the day! Not feeling so cute these days but willing to deal with whatever as long as our baby girl is healthy! I get short of breath while laying down/lounging on the couch which can be annoying. My bladder is feeling smaller by the day! Baby flips, turns, wiggles, and movement:.

I can't believe that in a few short days we will be in April: the month our baby will be born! Looking back, I feel like this entire pregnancy has just flown by! Wife, New Mom, and follower of Christ. Friday, August 14, 2015. Claire Elyse: 4 Months. Month 4 was full of family, swimming, heat, and travel! 139lbs, 25 inches long, and head is 16inches. Claire has a long and skinny torso with majorly rolly and chunky legs! Claire is still as sweet as can be! She went through a fussy stage this month though. Claire spent a lot of time at family parties and wanted to be held by mommy or daddy most of the time. She did not see fireworks this year! She nurses 2 hours.

This month was difficult as I started back to work but amazing at the same time because Claire has become very affectionate! I love this girl to pieces! Weeks 18-21: Can you tell she likes to put her hands in her mouth? Nicknames: Claire Bear, Clarabelle. Wearing: 0-3,3 month clothing. She is drinking only breastmilk. Rolling from back to belly.

I'm currently working on getting an Indiana teaching license though. I would love a new house, but because we want to be close to downtown Valparaiso (and those houses in the area are older), we may end up getting a fixer upper. Cue the Pinterest farmhouse pins. After trying to start a family for several years on our own, we decided to seek help. 7/26/12 - Annual pap smear =All clear. Get an order from the doctor to have a mammogram done due to family history (sister found a lump at 30 years old). 7/30/12 - Mammogram = All clear. 8/14/12 - Appointment with OBGYN. She orders blood work and Hysterosalpinogram for me and semen analysis for Mike. 8/17/12 - Mike goes in for semen anaylsis #1 = low sperm count and motility. Wife, New Mom, and follower of Christ. Monday, March 28, 2016. Claire Elyse: 11 Months. Now that Claire is 1 in less than a week (what? I think it is time to get her 11 month update on the blog! Weeks 11 (and 12 which you will read about soon), we have seen a shift from "baby" to "beginning toddler." it is exciting, amazing, terrifying, exhausting, saddening, and wonderful all at the same time. She is so unbelievable fun and curious! Claire is very vocal! She still loves reading! She plays patty cake.
