Sunday, February 16, 2014. Low Volume Pillow and a Winner. I wanted to make a "soft" colored pillow to go along with my low volume quilt. These live in our guest room. I definitely need practice with my crochet but from a distance my mistakes aren't glaring(I hope). If I ever decide that I need to be perfect, I'll probably just sit on my hands! Another ongoing project is this little wallhanging. It's made from the cut off corners from my 1930's. Going to hand quilt this one. Made this lovely mug rug.

Just another WordPress.com site. Canning for the first time. August 1, 2011. The hubby and I spent a couple of hours last night making and canning homemade salsa! It was our first time canning and we enjoyed it. We used the recipe and instructions I found online here: http:/ www.pickyourown.org/salsa.htm. We already had everything we needed except for the jar grabber and lime juice. We had over 17 pound of tomatoes from our garden (various kinds). Tim did the peeling. I did the seeding and chopping.
