Monday, June 28, 2010. Singing in the Rain! When I was little my favorite thing to do was to play in the rain. When we finally got some good rain with no lightening I decided to let him go for it! When I asked him if he wanted to go play in it, his eyes got huge and he said "Really? Throwing the ball down the "stream" and letting it come back to him. Under the drain spout! Wet, white shorts and Diego underwear don't mix :). Showing off his Karate moves. What a fun night in the rain! Sunday, June 27, 2010.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Kaden and I were driving around looking for the new park in our neighborhood when all of a sudden he said. K: "Mommy why do we have to die? Did you know that we don't die if we love Jesus? Me: Yes, baby that is right. When God decides we have finished our job on earth then he takes us back with him. K: Why won't we live in Keller any more? A: Because we get to go live in heaven. K: Are there toys there? K: But I will still need to poop! A; hmm.well not in heaven. We attempted to m...

September 2010 | starting all over again
http://startingoverwithaloha.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Starting all over again. Our journey as we move to the big island of hawaii and start over. The subtleties of nature. Slowing down and just being have been a slow process for me. How do you notice subtleties if you can't slow down? The same goes for when I go to the health food store and fill our home with good, wholesome, organic food. How fortunate are we? I don't think we ever stopped to think of it back in Texas. And we did a whole heck of a lot more buying back then. So I guess that sums up the rece...

March 2010 | starting all over again
http://startingoverwithaloha.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Starting all over again. Our journey as we move to the big island of hawaii and start over. This mom's day out. Little Ava was mellow as could be, just relaxing in her stroller, hardly making a peep. The babies hardly paid attention to anything, and the outing ended up being for us moms more than for the babies. Well, time to get back to Forest. He kept himself preoccupied starting at the ceiling fan for about 20 minutes, but I hear him getting restless now. Links to this post. It's an odd feeling. Howev...

Starting all over again. Our journey as we move to the big island of hawaii and start over. All about the breasts (you don't have to read if you don't wanna). Oh My God. This sounded so familiar. Forest was always hungry. At the beginning, yes, it seemed normal, because he had a tiny stomach and was just a newborn. But come on, the baby was five months already at the time of reading this article. Every hour, hour and a half? And I must be doing something right, because this baby is a growin. He weigh...

a new year | starting all over again
http://startingoverwithaloha.blogspot.com/2011/04/new-year.html
Starting all over again. Our journey as we move to the big island of hawaii and start over. He loves it. And I couldn't be more pleased. So, I am challenging myself. I am reminding myself that even at times when I feel out of my element, I am growing and learning. Probably not. But it does to me. The last few miles proved to be the most difficult, as I had indeed underprepared. However, it was one of the most fun experiences ever. I can't wait to do it again next year. I am pretty damn proud of that.

Pat Neff Hall reflecting in the seal. Daddy used to live here with his buddies. It looked nothing like this! After lunch we headed over to the Mayborn. There was an awesome lego exhibit. Checking out the dinosaur bones. Dr Pepper Can Castle. Who put this in a Baylor Museum? Apparently Ella wasn't impressed. This is for Papa!
