In our effort to beat out the jetlag, we decided to stroll along the Coastal Walk from Bondi to Bronte Beach. We stopped at the Icebergs and watched the waves crash into the pool. As I fumbled for a snack in our backpack, I heard Matt murmur in disbelief, “I think that was Mel Gibson? We loved you in The Patriot. You look amazing in a kilt! Wow, your calves! Do you work out? Wanna hear a Conspiracy Theory?

September 21, 2013. In [le luot, france]. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I enjoy weeding. I’m addicted. The next big project we tackled was fixing up the gravel driveway. There were overgrown patches of grass all around the stone border and throughout the driveway. It was tough work. Laura and I spent at least 3 full days just weeding and redistributing the gravel. Run away with me]. September 14, 2013. In [le luot, france]. I run out of food, I run the dishwasher, sometimes my nose runs, I run from confrontation…but I don’t. Run Not if I can help it. But at least once a year, I find myself binge-running. After my first day of “work”. In Le Luot, Laura invited me to go running with her. 8220;I guess I probably should,” I said. I just ate my way through Italy and if I keep eating all these croissants and pain au chocolat, my body will hate me. I usually run 5k!

The only thing I’d add is that at some point you need at least one other person to edit also; if for no other reason than your mind will simply skip over typos after you’ve reread something so many times and not caught it yourself. Just remember, it’s ultimately YOUR book – you decide which edits you like or dislike. The material has become immaterial. Not even the experts are experts.
