The Reed Family Blog. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. My first saving money trip. So last night after work I went to pick up a couple of things before my coupons expired. I ended up with 3 boxes of single serve red barron pizza, a package of cookie dough, apples, a gallon of milk and some salad dressing. I spent 11.16 out of pocket and saved 15.66. Friday, May 17, 2013. Quilt festival waddling quilt. With my husbands help we came up a football style quilt. Simple design. I machine appliqued the helmets and 'Oregon' and 'Ducks' (that is with my embroidery machine). I 'regularly' appliqued the duck feet and hash marks. The center of the quilt says 'waddling for a cure.' I wanted to add a bit of whimsy to the quilt. It was also embroidered on there. A closer look at the end zone. May 17, 2013 at 10:44 AM. This is my craft book challenge. Project for May. Finished in June. And LATE June at that. Yes, I’m behind. And even though I’m probably the only person holding myself accountable, I still feel guilty. And to make matters worse, I don’t even own this craft book. Just had it on loan from the library (that counts, right? Anyway, this is the Mendocino dress from Weekend Sewing. Friday, May 17, 2013. Baby quilt - quilt festival. After I was finished I went to the store for backing and was so excited to find this fabric. I felt like it worked perfectly. I am totally in love with the pinks and oranges.so pretty! I used a variegated thread for the stipple quilting. I found one with light pinks and orange.
