I Like The Tuna Here. May 31, 2015. Driven has been around now for the past 14 years, right around the same time the very first The Fast And The Furious movie came out. Needless to say, that movie changed a lot of our lives. The scene has never been bigger, and with an absence last year as well as the recent release of Furious Seven, Driven 2015 was without a doubt going to be the best one to date. And with over 400 cars in attendance, this was going to be a good one. In fact I was loving it so much.

Late Night Sessions | flyingpenguin
https://theflyingpenguin.ca/2015/07/13/late-night-sessions
July 13, 2015. I was recently invited out to a shoot to snap away at a few nice cars and just hang out with some friends. I was pretty busy throughout the day so I only made it at the very end. By then a couple cars had already gone home for the day, so needless to say this post is going to be pretty short. While I was hoping that Gerald would bring out the RS R IS300. We would also be joined by the lovely Brandy Lynn who would be out modeling for us that night! Peter’s car was looking as good as ever.

Life On The Edge | flyingpenguin

Life On The Edge. August 3, 2015. It’s been YEARS since I’ve last shot motorcycles in action. Sure, I may see them at various shows, but to see one blast by you at full throttle is another story. They may not be the most powerful machines on the road, but they are incredibly light which means that they accelerate like a bat out of hell. Hopefully I’ll get to learn more about our two-wheeled friends as time goes by, but for now you can just enjoy the photos:. To view the full photo set on Flickr.

June 7, 2015. Immediately following the Driven. Show in Calgary this year, I took the opportunity to snap a few pics of both my Integra. As well as Matt’s AE86. Given that this was about as clean as the two cars were going to be for a while (and also the fact that our hotel parkade was completely empty that night), we figured that this would be a good time to step back and just enjoy the view. I’ve featured my own Integra. On here a couple years ago, but there’s been a number of changes since then. Addre...

June 23, 2015. Sean taking me out for a ride in his STO Evo X race car around Castrol Raceway. Even though we ran into some traffic on the track, and the fact that the tires were already losing their grip, he still managed a 1:28.08. Insane. See more from this track day here:. Playing With Costumes | flyingpenguin

August 13, 2015. While I absolutely love covering large events (especially ones that I have to travel to), it’s always nice to be able to relax once in a while and take it easy. That’s probably the reason while I enjoy Animethon so much; it’s that one convention that’s considerably smaller than both the Calgary and Edmonton Expo’s, and just so happens to occur right in-between. I did see quite a few good cosplays however, including the first ever Danbo that I’ve ever seen! Thankfully they decided to brea...
