I live in a part of the world where Tahini paste, funnily enough, does not make it onto the local supermarket shelves. And asking where I can find it, will end up with me pointed to the clothing section where I might find a bikini instead. So when I first started to make my own hummus, I thought I was screwed, until I figured out what Tahini past really is. All it is, is crushed up seeds. Think Pink: Beetroot Hummous.
