Sunday, June 27, 2010. Emily's blessing was today at our church and it was beautiful. We are very fortunate to live by most of our family and so it made it even more special to have them there today to share this special day with us. Because my brain is still functioning in a hazy, sleepless state, words do not come easily (well, words that would make sense), so here are some pictures. Thursday, April 29, 2010. I found out yesterday that I am officially on bed rest due to high blood pressure. I guess for the remainder of my pregnancy. I probably should have asked but I was already freaking out at the words "bed" and "rest". In theory, that's 4 weeks. In reality, I'm aiming for more like 2 weeks. What do you get when you let your 3 year old choose her own nail polish color? Oh yeah. Purple glitter. This is why she isn't allowed to pick out her own clothes. Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Brett loves to go camping and contrary to what my family thinks, I enjoy it as well if. We had a fire, made s'mores, played on the swing set, made shadow puppets in the tent with the flashlights, and read books. Sleeping and Brett and I are starting to look and feel like zombies). We finished the campout with a huge breakfast and a promise to Audrey that she could campout again soon.

Saturday, January 1, 2011. Audrey chose to go bowling to celebrate New Year's Eve. I wasn't sure how much she was going to like it but with the bumpers and a really light ball designed for kids, she had a blast. After getting a running start, Audrey would throw the ball down the lane and then take this stance to watch it hit the pins. Funny girl. Emily also enjoyed bowling. She cheered us on in her stroller while she worked on gnawing her rattle to death. She is currently working on tooth #2.
