Naturally, in all scenarios of AWOL-ness, there’s always some sort of dramatic response – the absolutely banal “busy-ness” the heartbreak hiatus; the occasional actual absence from life and its normality; etc. etc. Mine however is apt and perfectly so, as I have been on the strangest of reading binges. I call it strange, yet within that single word lies all the elation, the thrill, the excitement. Even a good thing.

August 5, 2015. This is a few days late, but these pictures were taken on July 12! July was jam packed with lots of fun- we had 3 different mini vacations! First to St. George for the 4th of July, then to San Francisco, and finally to the lake house at Scofield for Pioneer day weekend. Learned to clap her hands. Top 2 teeth came in strong. Got a bike helmet. Rode in the bike trailer behind dad's bike for the first time! Shot 5 photo shoots including two weddings. Bought a new lens. San Francisco in July.
