Monday, July 16, 2012. Easter - April 2012. Since Troy was recovering from his SVT attack, we had a fairly low key Easter. It was the typical coloring of Easter eggs, Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt. It was a nice celebration. We used A LOT of colors this year. The girls got a hand-me-down Pet Shoppe collection. Saturday, July 14, 2012. Right after we returned from all our travels, it was time to celebrate Sadie's second birthday. This girl has been a joy to have in our family. She is sweet, sensitive, calm and very easy going. She has made the transition into 2 kids very easy. She idolizes her older sister and loves to copy her. Erica is very tolerant and plays well with Sadie. She's a tiny thing! One of her birthday presents was a new water table. It, unfortunately, has not been as well-use as I had hoped.

Thursday, July 19, 2012. It seems like life this year has been a crazy fast roller coaster. We decided to take it easy the first part of May. Then it went crazy again, but I will post more about that later. Mother's Day - I got flowers, a flower pencil and cupcakes with flower decorations. I couldn't have asked for more. I have been working in a dingy, cold, windowless office for the past 2 years (notice the plethora of grandkid photos as an attempt to cheer up the space? This is the new space. Saturday, May 12, 2012. Mom, Dad and I drove down to Salt Lake City to see Marissa's concert. She has been playing the flute this year and she is doing really well! We got to hear a few songs during her school's end of the year concert, and then we all went to Leatherby's afterward. Mallory got flowers too- for obtaining her yellow belt in Hop-Ki-Do, which is a special blend of martial arts. We can't believe how big Austin is getting! We all took turns holding him. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Nancee, the girls and I also got our nails painted and we took them to the Carousel Museum in Idaho Falls one afternoon. Sadie was a little bit scared of the quick-moving carousel, and Erica told her, "Don't worry Sadie. I'll be right here so you won't fall off." What an awesome big sister!
