Sunday, November 25, 2012. Today hubby took me on a photo-taking date to the Carpenters Bluff Bridge. The bridge has been spanning the Red River since 1910. You can read more about the bridge here. Trains used to pass on the bridge, but it has been converted for vehicle traffic. Cars can only go one direction at a time and they go way too fast , if you ask me. You have a 2-car carport that weighs a ton and needs to be moved a couple of acres away? Dismantle it and put it back together where you want it? Of course not. Silly. You chain it to itself and then hook it to the John Deere and drag it where you want it! Here you can witness hubby pulling it backwards and already about 1/4 of the way to where it needed to be.
