Almond Flour Cookies | Eat Well. Live Well.
https://singaporeanmummycooks.wordpress.com/2013/06/12/almond-flour-cookies
Eat Well. Live Well. Because life is simply too short for excuses. June 12, 2013. These gluten-free cookies were a hit with the family and they are best eaten when warm. And because almonds have a naturally sweet taste to them, I sometimes omit adding the sugar totally and the cookie still tastes delicious. This healthy option of omitting sugar also makes this cookie a favourite among my friends and family who struggle with diabetes. 3 cups almond flour. 2 eggs, room temperature. 1 teaspoon baking soda.

Eat Well. Live Well. Because life is simply too short for excuses. Grain free Coconut Plantain Pancakes. June 15, 2013. I love pancakes, especially MacDonald breakfast hotcakes. Frankly, it’s more fun to make my own, although I do stock up pre-mixes for those days when I need pancakes pronto and I don’t have any suitable ingredients in the pantry. This morning, we tried out grain free. The next time h...

Type 2, not type 1 light. April 1, 2015. A sad story, but so pleased it was shared. http:/ www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-3018661/The-silent-heart-attacks-strike-diabetics-without-warning.html. I am often amazed at the attitude of type 2 diabetics that I meet. They often feel sorry for me as I have to take insulin shots and test my blood sugar so regularly. The belief that type 2 is somehow less serious can be entirely misplaced. It really depends on the steps the person takes. Another advocate of cu...

https://singaporediabeteshealth.com/2015/06/17/is-he-having-a-hippo
Is he having a hypo, a hyper, or a hippo? June 17, 2015. More easily distinguished than a hypo and a hyper. Hypoglycemia or ‘hypo’ for short is one of the toughest aspects of having diabetes, especially for people relying on insulin injections. This is quite different from a hippo, which is a large, mostly herbivorous mammal. Diabetics usually don’t have hippos, although I am sure there are exceptions. I promise I always replace them. That keeps on giving. Often for up to 5-6 hours after you have taken i...

Sometimes, it’s even impossible to find a pitch available. Of course, people with or without diabetes are encouraged ...
